Morocco's frozen raspberry exports doubled in 2022, reaching a record 16.7 thousand tons and bringing in $60 million in revenue. The country is rapidly approaching Ukraine as the world's third-largest exporter of frozen raspberries. Morocco also set a record for fresh raspberry and blackberry exports, earning $307 million. The main markets for Moroccan berries are EU countries, particularly Germany, and in 2022, exports to the UAE, Brazil, Tunisia, South Africa, Croatia, Canada, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia significantly increased.
