In 2020, Moscow's meat and meat product exports saw a significant increase, with over $ 80 million worth of exports, marking a 13.6% rise from 2019. The main markets for these exports were Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, and China. Kazakhstan was the largest buyer, with purchases worth $ 26.3 million, nearly doubling the figures from 2019. The exports to Kazakhstan primarily consisted of poultry meat and by-products, accounting for 92% of the total. While exports to Hong Kong and China also grew, by 77.6% and 18.4% respectively, beef and lamb exports from Moscow experienced different trends, with beef exports rising by 65% and lamb exports falling by 53.6%.
