Agricultural producers in the Moscow Region have commenced the harvesting of open-ground vegetables, collecting from an area of 0.9 thousand hectares, which is 12% of the season's total plan. The region aims to harvest from 7 thousand hectares this season, with an anticipated gross harvest of 16.1 thousand tons, marking a 1.7 thousand ton increase from the previous year. The Dmitrovsky urban district is leading in harvest volumes, with over 5.7 thousand tons harvested, largely by the agroholding Dmitrovskiye Ovoshi. Other districts like Istra and Serpukhov are also actively contributing to the region's harvest. The average yield per hectare for vegetables is 174 centners, and 252 centners for potatoes.
