Decree 16,509, published on October 22, extends the exemption from requiring an invoice for the internal transportation of animals for non-commercial purposes to all equines, including horses, donkeys, and mules. This amends a previous decree that only applied to horses. Those transporting the animals must have other documents verifying the animal's health and origin. The decree, which took effect on the day of its publication, is enforced by Iagro, an agency under the Secretariat of Environment, Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Semadesc).
