Myanmar's fishery exports have seen a significant increase of 31.26 million US dollars from the previous fiscal year, reaching a total of any given year. The country exports a variety of over 20 fish species to international markets, including Japan, European countries, China, and Thailand, via maritime and border trade. These exports are made through several border ports and are primarily focused on shad, carp, catfish, and sea bass. Myanmar's fishery products are exported to more than 40 countries, with Thailand and China being the main recipients.
