According to reports, the various types of rice, totaling 1,898 bags, which were confiscated as state assets, are stored in a warehouse of the Myanmar Agricultural Development Company (MAPCO) located in Binmana Town on the Yangon-Mandalay Old Road in the Naypyidaw Union Territory.
The Consumer Affairs Division of the Ministry of Commerce will sell the aforementioned rice through an open tender, with on-site bidding, and has already invited interested individuals or institutions to participate in the bidding.
Bidding documents can be purchased from the Consumer Affairs Division General Office in Naypyidaw (located in the Naypyidaw Committee Office Complex) from today until August 23 during office hours.
The open competitive bidding and auction for the rice will be held on August 26 at the Consumer Affairs Division General Office in Naypyidaw. Before bidding, bidders can visit the MAPCO warehouse to inspect the actual condition of the 1,898 bags of rice.
