The recent functional assessment of forest fragrance oils extracted from native Korean forest aromatic resources by the National Institute of Forest Science. Forest fragrance oils are aromatic components extracted from aromatic resources growing in Korean forests, which are globally attracting attention as natural materials with diverse functions beyond perfumes and flavoring agents, though information about Korea's native aromatic resources remains limited. The Forest Science Institute aims to enhance the conservation value of plants through industrial utilization of forest fragrance oils.
