Nelore Fest 2025: ACNB event enshrines Giro do Boi with maximum livestock prize

The Nelore Fest 2025 brought together on Saturday (6) in São Paulo the main breeders of the breed that dominates 80% of the national beef cattle herd. Promoted by the Associação dos Criadores de Nelore do Brasil (ACNB), the event, considered the ‘Oscar’ of cattle farming, awarded the prizes of the National Nelore Rankings, Nelore Mocho, Nelore Coats, and the Nelore Quality Circuit. The ceremony, which brought together around 400 breeders and cattle business entrepreneurs, also marked the end of the annual calendar of the breed. Representatives from Bolivia and Paraguay were present, reinforcing the strength of the genetics that drive beef production throughout Latin America. In this 25th edition, Giro do Boi also took the stage: the program received the Golden Nelore Trophy, the highest recognition granted by the ACNB.
