Last week, an alliance was announced between two companies to produce Premium meats for the Neuquén market, which will have as its distinctive element its origin in animals fattened exclusively under a pastoral system (in the field, in alfalfa and forage beet plots), which will allow for heavier steers to be sent to slaughter. Unlike the rest of the meat production offered in the region, these animals did not go through confinement situations typical of feedlots. The agreement was disclosed during a training and exchange day about forage beet cultivation under irrigation, which took place at the "Don Manuel" Agricultural Establishment, located in Valle Azul, Río Negro.
