In 2020, India was the 50th largest market for Peruvian agricultural products, with significant decreases in grape and avocado exports. As a result, these exports were replaced by supplies from Afghanistan and the Netherlands. However, the National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA) expects the Indian market to open for new Peruvian products, including citrus fruits and cranberries, in the third quarter of this year, provided that the necessary phytosanitary requirements are met by the agro-exporters.
