The country's economy benefited greatly from the positive trade balance, with raw gold being the primary export, followed by beef, golden coffee, and cane sugar. The United States was the top buyer, with purchases exceeding 1.402 million dollars, while Central America, especially El Salvador, also contributed significantly to the demand for Nicaraguan products.
