The Nonghyup Economic Group Gwangju Wholesale Market (led by Jang Jang Park Chang-wook) held the "Farm Heart, City Heart! Let's Eat Korean Rice for Breakfast Campaign" on the 22nd, with the participation of the Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers Association and employees of cooperating companies. Around 20 employees of the Gwangju Wholesale Market and over 100 employees of cooperating companies participated in the event, distributing kimbap and jook to customers visiting the market, employees of cooperating companies, and representatives of trading companies to promote the practice of eating breakfast. This campaign was organized to empathize with the difficulties faced by agriculture and rural areas, such as the decrease in rice consumption and the aging of the rural population, and to publicize the excellence of Korean rice. Participants aimed to spread the culture of eating breakfast and promote healthy eating.
