The article outlines the commencement of the olive harvest season in North Sinai, with a projected area to be harvested at 19,000 acres and an estimated olive production of 160 thousand tons. The Ministry of Agriculture is supporting this initiative by distributing fertilizers to the olive farmers. There has been an expansion in the cultivated area, with a notable increase of 8,000 acres compared to the previous year. North Sinai is one of the five governorates in Egypt that is dedicated to olive cultivation, contributing to an annual production of 58 million trees.
