Norway's salmon and trout exports both increased in the first quarter

In March, salmon exports saw a significant increase, with a volume of 102,900 tons and a value of NOK 10 billion, marking a 27% increase in volume and an 8% increase in value compared to the previous year. Trout exports also surged, reaching 19,164 tons with a value of NOK 1.8 billion, showing a 39% increase in volume and a 33% increase in value year-on-year. The main markets for these exports were Ukraine, the United States, and Thailand.
