At the Norwegian Rafisklag auction, the on-board price of cod in the 1–2.5 kg specification reached a record high in the 38th week, directly pushing up the import price in China. The price of Russian cod in the 1–2 kg specification remained relatively stable, but the upper and lower limits of the range were adjusted. Despite this, buyers from China admitted, "We said we wouldn't exceed $7,000, $8,000, or $9,000, but the price has been approaching $10,000, and we are still forced to buy."
