In October, Norway experienced a significant surge in shrimp exports, with a value increase of NOK 83 million, or 82 percent, compared to the same month the previous year. The volume of these exports also rose by 126 percent. The largest markets for Norwegian shrimp were Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Iceland. Notable increases were observed in the exports of cooked shrimp to the United Kingdom and Denmark, as well as frozen raw shrimp to Iceland. The export of frozen, cooked shrimp in the shell also saw a substantial increase, with China and Denmark being the top recipients.
