In October, Peru exported less fresh lemon

In October of this year, lemon shipments did not fall as much as had been believed. Despite once again being one of the lowest months in which Peru exports lemon, added to the great drop in shipments of fresh lemon, a more negative scenario was expected for citrus this month. However, the lemon juice surprised, counteracting the fall of the main presentation sent. This month, lemon shipments totaled 2,220 tons, which was only 0.2% less than last year. Of this total shipped, 85% was lemon juice, reaching almost 1,900 tons exported, reaching almost four times more than what was sent from this presentation in this same month of 2022.
