The Ezogelin Women's Initiative Production and Business Cooperative in Gaziantep, Turkey, is preparing to export freeze-dried food products to Europe, including Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and Belgium. The products, which have a shelf life of 20 years and retain over 97% of their freshness, are currently being branded as "Gastrotad" and sold digitally. The cooperative, which received support from the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and İpekyolu Development Agency, has started the certification process for export and plans to use the proceeds to invest in the business. The products, which include melons, bananas, apples, strawberries, corn, oranges, and tangerines, are made at the Gastronomy and Agricultural Education Center, which uses the most advanced drying method in the world.
