Okra harvest with guaranteed purchase has started in Balıkesir, Turkey

The okra harvest has begun in the Gömeç district of Balıkesir, one of Turkey’s important okra production centers. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has guaranteed to purchase approximately 10 tons of okra from producers in Gömeç at 90 liras per kilo, depending on its class.
