Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Stefan Burdzhev held a working meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions in Bulgaria. The meeting took place following consultations held on Monday with representatives of the European Commission from the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (SANTE) regarding the epizootic situation related to the sheep and goat pox disease, informed the press office of the Ministry of Agriculture. "For the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, it is important to start a communication process with the countries that are our long-term partners in developing a successful trade in dairy products and to assure them that we will inform them at every stage of taking the most correct, responsible, and balanced decisions to deal with the disease," Deputy Minister Burdzhev said at the opening of the meeting.
