Vietnam's chicken egg industry is facing a downturn due to reduced domestic demand and challenges in exporting due to the avian flu epidemic and high preservation costs. To mitigate this, experts suggest developing businesses with egg export potential, building a national brand, and meeting international requirements on antibiotics and microorganisms. The Vietnam Poultry Association and other bodies have proposed policy changes to the Prime Minister to address these issues and create a competitive advantage.
