The Brazilian government announced a new market opening for pork exports to Bhutan, following the previous approval for poultry meat exports in the last six months. This development is part of Brazil's strategy to expand its agricultural reach, particularly in Asia, with 42 market openings this year and 120 since President Lula's third term. The exports to Bhutan have seen significant growth, with agribusiness products import value doubling in 2023 compared to the previous year. This achievement is credited to the collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
