The Brazilian government announced new health approvals for the import of macadamia nuts and pork products, opening up the market to Angola, South Korea, Australia, the UK, and Malaysia. This move is expected to boost trade with these countries and is a reflection of the confidence in Brazil's health control system. This development is part of the country's strategy, executed in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), to secure market access to 205 openings in 60 destinations since 2023, with 127 market openings achieved in 2024.
