The Brazilian government announced that the European Union has authorized Brazil to export live horses, making it the second largest market for Brazilian agribusiness products. In the first half of this year, Brazilian agricultural exports to the EU totaled US$11.05 billion. This opens up the 90th market for Brazilian agribusiness this year, with a total of 168 openings in 56 destinations since 2023, a achievement possible through the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
