[Opinion] Pushing for a basic income for rural fishermen only breeds distrust.

The rural basic income initiative stems from the government's new attempt to address the structural crises of population decline, aging, and regional extinction. It is also the result of the urgent demands of numerous farmers and fishermen's organizations and local governments. The intention was to revitalize the local economy and improve living conditions for rural residents by providing a certain level of basic income. However, the recent policy implementation process has caused much confusion due to a lack of preparation and poor design. The biggest controversy is the condition of '30% local contribution'.
