Traditional red, yellow, and green mini tomatoes have been joined by new colors – black, white, and orange – in China this year. Consumers are making purchasing decisions not only based on taste but also on visual appeal, and this color variety has brought new market momentum. Multicolored boxed tomato selections with seven different colors have become particularly popular among consumers. "Based on the success of orange tomatoes at the beginning of the year, we recognized that diversity provides both experience and value. This is where the idea for the seven-color selection came from," said Li Jianting, director of Shandong Jianan Agriculture.
