The Orenburg region has seen a significant increase in agricultural exports in the first half of 2020, with a 31% rise compared to the same period in 2019, totaling $74.7 million. The majority of these exports were from the oil and fat industry, including sunflower oil and oilcake, which accounted for approximately 48% of the total. Other exports included animal feed, seeds, materials of plant origin, and wheat, barley, and rye. The region is looking to further increase its meat and milk exports. Currently, its agricultural products are exported to numerous countries including Azerbaijan, Angola, and Kazakhstan, among others.
