Over 1 ton of seized food at the Serbian border

Over 1 ton of foodstuffs of animal and non-animal origin were seized during a check at the Kalotina border checkpoint, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) reported. At 4:30 a.m., a minibus driven by a 37-year-old man from Blagoevgrad arrived at the checkpoint to enter Bulgaria. During the inspection, the border police officer found that the vehicle was transporting a large quantity of vegetables, meat, and dairy products.
