Russia: Over 174 thousand tons of grain from Transbaikalia farmers according to the results of this year’s harvest

The harvesting campaign for agricultural crops has ended in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The region's farms threshed over 174 thousand tons of grain. This was announced by the head of the regional agricultural department Denis Bochkarev. He noted that grain harvesting work was carried out in 23 municipalities of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The total harvested area was 104.3 thousand hectares, the final result was 174.5 thousand tons of grain. The average yield reached 16.7 centners per hectare. For wheat, 83.9 thousand tons were received, for oats - 73 thousand tons of oats. Also obtained were 12 thousand tons of buckwheat, 3.7 thousand tons of barley, 945 tons of triticale and 508 tons of peas.
