Over 2 tons of non-compliant animal products and food additives were seized during inspections of 3 vehicles carried out by inspectors from the Regional Food Safety Directorate (RFSD) in Haskovo in conjunction with officials from the regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Svilengrad, the press center of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency reported. During the control actions, 1140 kilograms of chicken meat, 1500 pieces of chicken eggs with a total weight of 75 kilograms, 300 kilograms of cheese, 120 kilograms of butter, and 401 kilograms of food additive were identified.
