The State Fisheries Agency in Transcarpathia has stocked over 24,000 Danube salmon and European grayling fry into local reservoirs. The fry were released into the Tisza and Teresva rivers, as well as in the Synevyr National Nature Park. The fry, weighing around 6.5 g each, were reared by the Lopushno Trout Plant. So far, the state budget has funded the stocking of 97,700 brook trout, 19,400 Danube salmon, and 8,800 European grayling in Transcarpathian rivers this year.
