Specialists from the plant quarantine department of the Bashkir testing laboratory conducted 900 studies of food flax seeds intended for export to multiple countries, including the Customs Union, European Union, and China. They specifically focused on mycological studies of the indicator "flax kernel" to detect the fungus Septoria linicola, which can have a negative impact on flax seedlings. Despite the widespread presence of the fungus in flax cultivation, the tested batches met the requirements of importing countries, with no flax sash found.
