Other African nations have seen a surge in exports, contributing to the global trade dynamics. China emerges as a significant player, ranking as the fourth largest exporter and the third largest importer, with Europe and the United States being the top import markets. The report also highlights the growing export volumes from Kenya and Guatemala to China, with China becoming the primary market for Kenyan macadamia nuts. Additionally, there's a notable increase in the global export of macadamia nut shells, particularly to Asia, where China accounts for 91.52% of imports, showcasing a significant rise in the trade of macadamia nut by-products.
