In December, the most affordable tangerines became cheaper by an average of 25% compared to 2024. This is due to high yields in the countries supplying them to Russia, reports "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" citing the Association of Retail Companies (AKORT). According to "Kontur. Marketa", over the year the price of a kilogram of tangerines in Russia decreased by an average of 12% compared to the previous year: from 218 rubles to 185 rubles, TASS reports. However, according to the company's research, the picture is not uniform across regions. Analysts clarified that in some regions the cost of tangerines increased: in the Perm Krai the increase was 40%, in the Krasnoyarsk Krai it was 17%. At the same time, demand for these citrus fruits decreased by an average of 6%, but also unevenly: residents of the Tyumen region, for example, bought tangerines 34% more often than in 2024, and in the Krasnoyarsk Krai they bought 24% more.
