The article highlights the success of an oyster mushroom production initiative in Ballıüzüm village, Artvin, backed by the Regional Directorate of Forestry. The fully automated facilities have become a significant source of income for forest villagers, with the production capacity reaching 2.5 tons per month. The mushrooms, grown in a natural environment, are rich in nutrition and protein, providing an additional benefit to the villagers. Dr. Mimar Sinan Özkaya, the Regional Director of Forestry, inspected the production greenhouse and expressed gratitude from the Mushroom Growers Union of Artvin for the support received since 2013.
