Pakistan to export onions to China

China and Pakistan signed the Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Exports of Onions from Pakistan to China on Tuesday. The agreement will give Pakistani onion producers access to the Chinese market. Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong and Pakistani Federal Food Minister Syed Fakhar Imam signed the agreement at a ceremony in Islamabad: "Today we officially signed the protocol on onions and we are also ready to assist Pakistani exporters in the inspection and quarantine peppers, potatoes and other agricultural and horticultural products so that they can access the Chinese markets."
