Pakistani mango exports have faced challenges for the third consecutive year in a row due to adverse weather conditions and pest infestations, leading to a significant decrease in production. The mango season lasts from May to August, with an annual output of approximately 1.8 million tons, primarily contributed by Punjab and Sindh provinces. Despite these challenges, there has been a surge in demand from the Middle East, and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan anticipates that exports this season will exceed 100,000 tons.
