Panama is set to import over 3.6 million kilos of pork from the United States in 2023, according to the National Customs Authority (ANA) of Panama. The tariff quota for this import under the Trade Promotion Agreement (TPC) between Panama and the US has been allocated. The quota, amounting to about 3.6 million kilograms, will be distributed among 11 participating companies. The import will include various pork meats such as boneless chops, hams, and shoulders.
