In September 2024, Peruvian paprika exports saw a decline in both value and volume, reaching US$ 11.03 million for 3,239 tons, a 19% drop in value and 13% in volume from the previous year. The average price per kilogram also decreased by 7% during this time. The exports reached 9 markets, two fewer than the previous year, with Mexico and the United States being the leading importers. S&M Foods S.A.C., Agroindustrial E&C S.A.C., and Arbayaza Export S.A.C. were the leading companies in exports, and the shipments were mainly made through the port terminals of DP World and APM Terminals. From January to September 2024, paprika exports from Peru experienced a contraction of 25.45%, totaling US$ 111.23 million.
