According to embassy data, in 2024 alone, Israel ranked as the fourth largest buyer of Paraguayan meat, acquiring 26.9 million kilos worth approximately US$ 144.4 million. But the curve continued to rise: by October 2025, exports to Israel already totaled around US$ 184 million, of which nearly US$ 176 million corresponded exclusively to meat products. "The economic ties are only getting stronger and we believe they will continue to rise next year," assured Mekel. Although meat clearly leads the commercial exchange, there are other sectors with immediate expansion potential. Among them stand out charcoal, wood, rice, and processed foods, segments where Israel identifies concrete opportunities to expand Paraguayan supply.
