Paraguay is actively working to expand its meat export markets, particularly in Asia, through diplomatic and trade negotiations with ASEAN countries, Japan, and South Korea. Daniel Burt, the general manager of the Paraguayan Meat Chamber, along with MIC minister Javier Giménez, has been involved in meetings aimed at accelerating health procedures and scheduling inspections to facilitate exports. Efforts include exchanging documentation with Singapore, advancing negotiations with Japan and South Korea, and preparing for inspections by Mexican authorities. These steps are part of Paraguay's broader strategy to diversify its export destinations and attract investments, amidst limitations with its current largest market, China.
