The export is handled by La Soñada Ranch of Ignacio Callizo from San Bernardino. The buyer is Rancho Grande Ranch of the Paiva family from the department of Treinta y Tres. "We are very happy and proud to complete the first export of Paraguayan Texel to Uruguay, a country very traditional with sheep and who was a very important actor in the development of our breed in Paraguay," Ignacio Callizo, owner of La Soñada, highlighted to Valor Agro. He explained that the female lambs are daughters of La Soñadora 123, the most expensive Texel female in the country, by an English ram, one of the most outstanding in the United Kingdom.
