Paraguay: Frigorífico completes first meat export to Panama

The National Service for Animal Health and Quality (Senacsa) reported that the Victoria slaughterhouse made its first export of beef to the Panamanian market on Thursday, which was recently enabled for Paraguayan meat products. "The first shipments, sent by the Victoria slaughterhouse, mark the beginning of the expansion and positioning of Paraguayan meat products in Panama, and the strengthening of trade relations between the two countries," the veterinary service highlighted. Last August, the Panamanian Food Agency (APA) authorized the importation of beef from Paraguay, thus adding a new market for the local red protein.
