REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The government has officially reduced the maximum retail price (HET) of subsidized fertilizers by up to 20 percent. This policy has been positively received by the Indonesian Farmers' Association (HKTI), which views the move as clear evidence of the state's support for farmers. Secretary General of HKTI, Abdul Kadir Karding, said the reduction in fertilizer prices will directly ease the burden of production costs and ensure the availability of fertilizers in the field. "Farmers can now obtain fertilizers at more affordable prices, and the supply is becoming more stable. This shows President Prabowo's great concern for food sovereignty," Karding said in Jakarta on Saturday (25/10/2025).
