The Paraguay National Service for Plant and Seed Quality and Health (Senave) has warned producers about the confirmation of Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) in Argentina, which affects tomatoes and peppers. While the virus does not pose a threat to human or animal health, it can cause significant harm to crops. Senave advises local producers to monitor their plots intensively and promptly report any suspicions of virus presence, emphasizing the importance of early detection to prevent substantial losses in crops.
