Paraguay is planning to open six new markets for its beef, pork and agricultural products this year, targeting countries including Japan and Korea. The process, which is being coordinated with the National Animal Quality and Health Service (Senacsa), involves a phytosanitary approach. Paraguay is also focusing on strengthening its brand as a leading provider of animal protein products. This follows the successful opening of the US and Canadian markets for beef last year, with the Mexican market expected to open soon.
