In the first half of 2024, Paraná's coffee exports surged to US$ 195.7 million, a 26.7% increase from the previous year, marking the best performance in twelve years. Instant coffee was the primary driver, accounting for US$ 149.7 million or 76.5% of total exports. The state's industrialization process has enabled exports to 73 countries, with Germany, the Netherlands, and the USA being the top buyers of coffee beans, and the USA, Poland, and Russia leading in instant coffee purchases. The State Government is supporting quality improvement and rural tourism, with an expected production of 675 thousand bags of coffee by the end of 2024.
