Paraná leads national honey production in 2024

According to the Municipal Livestock Survey (PPM), from the IBGE, the national honey production in 2024 was 67,304 tons, an increase of 4.9% compared to 2023, when 64,164 tons were registered. The Gross Production Value (GPV) reached R$ 1.010 billion, which means an increase of 11.4% compared to the previous year. For the institute, "the volume of 2024 represents the highest ever recorded in the historical series, with consecutive growth since 2016."
