In 2024, the exports of chicken meat from Paraná to Malaysia generated, on average, US$ 564,550 per month, totaling US$ 6.77 million for the year. The State exported 4,350 tons, equivalent to 0.2% of the total 2.17 million tons exported in the period. According to Agrostat/Mapa data, Malaysia was the 46th destination of Paraná's chicken exports in 2024, out of a total of 138 countries. Paraná is the national leader in chicken meat production, with 558.6 million units slaughtered in the second quarter of 2025, which represents 34.1% of the national production.
