The XVII Winter Grain Conference in Siberia emphasized the quality and export potential of Siberian grain, with 4.6 million tons of grain and leguminous crops examined in 2023. The Altai Territory led in the production of soft wheat, and the Siberian District showed record exports of grain products, with a 28% increase from 2022. The demand for Siberian grain products is growing globally, particularly in China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, North Korea, and Azerbaijan. The number of Siberian exporters also increased by 82% to 238 companies in 2023. However, the share of TOP companies in the grain export sector varies significantly across different regions.
